TIMOTHY DEAN COLLINS, age 26, of Manassas, VA died Sunday afternoon, October 27, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mr. Collins was born March 11, 1993 in Newport News, VA, son of Penny Joann Newton Collins, and James Evans Collins, Jr. & wife, Tammy. He was a Network Engineer and was of the Christian faith.
Tim enjoyed hiking, bicycling, gaming, and working with computers.
Surviving in addition to his parents are four sisters, Hannah Marie Skinner & husband, Isaiah, Sarah Collins, Lily Collins, Naomi Collins, brother, Joshua Collins, maternal grandmother, Katie Newton, paternal grandparents, Phoebe Hood, James Evans Collins, Sr. & wife, Barbara, aunts and uncles, Javier & Jean Becerra, Daise & Charlie Roberts, Louis & Brandy Newton, Daniel Newton, Karen Newton, Lisa Newton, Bob & Trisha Collins, Steve Collins, Zoe & Scott Schriver, niece, Annabelle Skinner, nephew, Oliver Skinner, step-brother, Andrew Rutherford, and step-sister, Kylie Rutherford.
Mr. Collins is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lennie Thomas Newton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeremy Quist officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of Javier & Jean Becerra, 522 Chambers Road, Rougemont, NC.
Pallbearers will be Javier A. Becerra, Javier T. Becerra, Pablo Becerra, Daniel Newton, Louis Newton, Charlie Roberts, Oscar Rosales, and Isaiah Skinner.
