Roger Wayne Wilson

ROGER WAYNE WILSON age 75, of 1859 Peed Road, Rougemont, NC died Friday afternoon, October 4, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Wilson was born August 27, 1944 in Alamance County, NC, son of the late William Glen Wilson, Sr. & Bertie May Cobb Wilson.  He was retired from Carolina Box and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his loving companion and faithful caregiver, Becky Duke Elliott of the home, two sons, Rodney Wilson, Todd Wilson both of Burlington, NC, two brothers, Robert Wilson of Virginia, Gary Wilson of Graham, NC, sister, Irma Dean Collins of Graham, NC, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny Wilson, William Glen Wilson, Jr., and two sisters, Iantha Good, and Ina Rae Mitchell.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2019 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. David Hornbuckle officiating.  The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
