Kevin Douglas Snead

KEVIN DOUGLAS SNEAD age 49, of 117 Clayton Street, Roxboro, NC died Saturday evening, August 3, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Snead was born May 26, 1970, in Person County, NC son of the late Douglas MacArthur “Arthur” Snead & the late Linda Jo Puryear Snead. He was employed with ADD Equipment, and was of the Christian faith.

Kevin enjoyed working, fishing, tending his vegetable garden, helping others and music.

Surviving are a brother, Joey Carver Snead & wife, Leigh Anne of Burlington, NC, step-mother, Tammy Clark Snead of Leasburg, NC, step-grandmother, Dorothy Gill Clark.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Snead is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie Newman & Florence Clack Snead, maternal grandparents, William Ballard & Nancy Carver Puryear.

A casual gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 3:00 till 5:00 p.m. in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Angus, Danny Briggs, Randy Briggs, Jack Long, Jr., Brandon Overby, Sammy Poole, Tommy Puryear, Kirk Redman, and Merle Terry.
