JANE MATILDA ROBINSON WEAVER age 88, of 4935 Allensville Road, Roxboro, NC died Sunday morning, June 16, 2019 at the Hock Family Pavilion.
Mrs. Weaver was born April 13, 1931 in Roxborough, PA, daughter of the late Joseph Melvin & Elizabeth Greene Robinson and wife of 69 years to James Thomas Weaver, Sr. who survives. She was a homemaker, retired farmer, previously worked at the Crossroads Book Store, and was a member of Allensville United Methodist Church. She loved the Lord, cross stitching, reading, quilting, and her cats and dogs.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, James T. “Jimmy” Weaver, Jr. & wife, Deborah of Semora, NC, Susan Lynch & husband, Kenny of Garham, NC, Steven Weaver & wife, Tammy, Lori Jane Weaver all of Roxboro, NC, eleven grandchildren, C.J. “Chris” Weaver (Lori Ann), Katherine Scott (Phillip), Angie Corbett (Stephen), Kenny Lynch, Renee Lynch, Cory Lynch, Autumn Roberson (Ken), Jessica Flanders (Jon), Hannah Stone (Justin), Katie Morse, Rebekah Weaver, twelve great grandchildren, Sara Weaver, Scott Grant, Thomas Weaver, Jojo Scott, Ricky Snead, Christian Corbett, Easton Link, Arianna Corbett, Amber Flanders, Landon Rodriguez, Baylee Jane Stone, Alana Cruz, and great-great grandchild, Briley Grant.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weaver is preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Weaver, great granddaughter, Crystal Grant, sister, Evelyne McCullough, and brother, Joseph M. Robinson, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Allensville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lindsey Collins and the Rev. Jack Ruth officiating. Interment will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends and guests from 6:30 till 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services.
Pallbearers will be Keith Brann, Jon Flanders, Barry Gentry, Belvin Gentry, Justin Stone, and C.J. Weaver. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Brann, Ricky Brann, Wilbur “Stump” Brann, Dennis McCullough, Bill Oakley, Coy Oakley, and Ken Robinson.
